Dr. Petty is a 1980 graduate of Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine.  He has practiced in Michigan since graduation.  His main professional interests are in internal medicine and dentistry.  Dr. Petty belongs to the Southeastern Michigan Veterinary Medical Association's Academy, an elite group of veterinarians committed to high levels of continuing education.

Dr. Petty lives in the area on a small horse farm with his wife and two daughters.  His personal interests include horses, travel, cooking and gardening.
