This is a great thing to do for your pet no matter what the price, however, we currently have some low-cost chips that we can implant in just seconds into your dog or cat. My own cat was recovered miles from home after months of being missing. The humane society scanned him, got the id number from the recovery center and called us on a Sunday afternoon to let us know they had found him.
